Dark circle correction 👸🏼👸🏼👸🏼 This beautiful patient and fellow healthcare professional wanted to soften her undereye hollows and dark circles in a minimally invasive manner. While my preferred approach is lower eyelid blepharoplasty with autologous fat grafting, tear trough augmentation with injectable filler can provide an excellent alternative. This is my signature metric-based microdroplet injection technique. Her result is an excellent example because it shows an immediate improvement, but also some realities of any type of intervention: she has redness at injection sites and a tiny bruise. These will resolve on their own and can be covered with makeup, but it is important to remember that plastic surgery is not magic. 🔮🔮🔮 .
