"Drop & settle" ⚪️⚪️ It takes about 3 months for breast implants to drop and settle into their final position. This is because it takes time for the pectoralis major muscle to stretch and accommodate the implant, and for it to gently drop into its final resulting position. ⚪️⚪️ It is normal and expected for implants to seem a bit high, tight, and full right after surgery-- as is seen in my beautiful patient here, who is 6 days after breast augmentation. She looks great now, but she is going to look even more amazing in a few months. 📝📝📝 Note that her incisions are amongst the tiniest around at just 1.5 inches! ⚪️⚪️ .
