Thanks @readersdigest for featuring me in this article on the evolution of liposuction. Liposuction is the number one cosmetic procedure in America, and advances over the past few decades have made it safer and more effective than ever. Blood loss is almost zero, downtime is usually less than 1-2 days, and many patients can have liposuction wide awake. My favorite area to perform liposuction is the neck: in a 20 minute wide-awake procedure I am able to get rid of a double chin, sculpt the jawline, and refine the contours of the neck. While liposuction seems easy, achieving good results requires considerable effort and careful technique. 😷😷😷
