Undereye correction 👁👁 Beginning in our mid 20s, we all experience some degree of volume loss around the orbit and herniation of the fat pads under the eyes. This can create a hollow and puffy look that makes us appear more tired than we actually are. 👁👁 This beautiful patient wanted to look more refreshed and rejuvenated without changing the natural character of her eyes. I performed my signature microdroplet injection technique for tear trough augmentation to give her this beautiful result. 👁👁 Tear trough augmentation involves no scars, incisions, surgery, or downtime. The procedure itself takes a few minutes and results last for 1 to 2 years. ☠️☠️☠️ This is an expert injector technique, and I recommend seeking a provider who is highly experienced in the delicate anatomy around the eyes. There are a number of nerves, arteries, veins, muscles, and other vital structures in this area, and nuanced anatomic knowledge is necessary to achieve beautiful and safe results. 👁👁 Nonsurgical under eye correction is one of the most frequently performed procedures in my practice. Rejuvenation of mature lips 👄This beautiful patient wanted her lips to appear younger, more voluminous, and softer-- while still looking natural. I used 5️⃣ syringes of filler spaced out over a year to achieve this improvement in her vertical lip lines, volume loss, asymmetry, long philtrum, and flattened Cupid's bow. 👄👄👄 This is a good instructional case because it demonstrates some realities of injectable fillers: 1️⃣ It may take more product than you realize to get a big transformation. 5 syringes is equal to about 1 teaspoon. 2️⃣ Filler can be used not just for volume, but also for definition of the Cupid's bow and philtral proportions. 3️⃣ In my hands, about 1 in 20 patients will bruise, and this can cause some transient asymmetry. This patient has a small bruise on her left upper lip in the after photo. It will resolve in a few days, but it is important to understand that bruising can occur after injectables. 👄👄👄 .
