Our personal choices are our own business, but I have always found it objectionable that society lionizes beauty standards, then swiftly punishes people for trying to live up to them. If Mara’s face (which is beautiful at baseline) is capable of selling millions of dollars of Kylie lip kits and designer clothing, why is it so problematic to understand how she maintains its symmetry and proportions— in a way that is barely detectable to most. Whether or not this is something you have considered, I think people are finally realizing that confidence is priceless, that you don’t owe an explanation to anyone, and that you can be a person of substance and still care about your appearance. 💎💎💎 .
