Follow along with with me today on a typical day in the operating room on my Snapchat and ig story. 😷😷😷 Before every OR day, I study 🤓 all of my cases, review all pertinent patient information, double check medical and health information, compose my surgical plans, digitally analyze pre-operative photos, confirm patient preferences and inspirations, review my metric-based approach, get 8 hours of sleep 😴😴😴, and eat breakfast 🥞☕️. Preparing for surgery for me is like an athlete preparing for a big game 🏀⚽️🏈⚾️🎾. For all of you aspiring surgeons out there, surgery is a tremendous responsibility, and so is studying to become a surgeon. My advice is to take great pride in your work and do your best for each step of the way-- and that includes not goofing off the night before! 💎💎💎 .

Correction of horizontal neck lines for my out-of-state patient 💉💉💉 There are only a few areas in aesthetics where surgery is NOT the best approach; horizontal neck lines, malar festoons, and dynamic wrinkles are my top 3. These are all examples of things that sound easy to fix but that are actually very challenging. Here is an example of a beautiful patient who was thin with good skin quality, but who hated her horizontal neck lines. With my signature microdroplet injection technique, she had a nice immediate improvement. This does not magically erase all traces of wrinkles 🔮🔮🔮, but it does significantly soften them. 💉💉💉
