DO YOU NEED YOUR EYES TO SMILE? Botox is an excellent technique for smoothing out the wrinkles around eyes, sometimes called crows’ feet. These creases form on the thin skin of the periorbita as a result of repeated movement over time. The art of injecting the crows’ feet is to soften them without completely obliterating them. This allows a smile to appear genuine (so you can form a Duchenne smile that causes the eyes to crinkle— a phenomenon @tyrabanks called the “smize”).
