Tear trough augmentation is one of my favorite ways (besides blepharoplasty surgery) to rejuvenate the under-eye area. This procedure takes a few minutes and lasts months to years. For any injectable procedure, there are a few ways you can help to optimize your own outcomes: 1️⃣ avoid alcohol 🍷 for 2 days before and after to reduce risk of bruising, 2️⃣ avoid blood thinners like Advil and Motrin 💊 for 1 week before and after to reduce risk of bruising, 3️⃣ avoid exercise, salty foods, saunas, steam rooms, and allergens for 1-2 days after to reduce risk of swelling, 4️⃣ ice the area heavily to reduce risk of swelling, and 5️⃣ give yourself 1-2 weeks of buffer time before a major social event. 💎💎💎 .
