WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME AFTER BOTOX? Botox is the most commonly performed cosmetic treatment in the world, but many people are curious how exactly they are going to look right afterward. Immediately after injection, you have tiny red bumps at injection sites. These settle down and go away in about ten minutes. By the time you leave the office, you should look presentable for work, school, or other activities. Bruising and swelling are uncommon but possible.
