No-downtime laser light-based facial resurfacing ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Here, we treated fashionista @notanotherblonde with a customized and micro-targeted approach. On her upper face, we addressed hyperpigmentation and dark spots. On her mid-face, we did pore refinement and reduction. On the lower third of her face, we used skin tightening settings. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ The art of laser and light based resurfacing hinges on customization of settings, frequencies, wavelengths, and energy levels delivered. “Lasers” are not one-size-fits-all. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ This treatment takes 20 minutes and has no associated downtime. So honored to be back on my old stomping grounds @columbiasurgery to speak at the John Jones Surgical Society Annual Meeting. Columbia & Cornell/ New York Presbyterian Hospital was an amazing place to train, and I remember these as the hardest years of my life— but also the best ones. During those years, I became a surgeon, met and married the love of my life, had my first child, and developed my adult identity as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
