Softening horizontal neck lines 💉 Horizontal neck lines occur as a result of genetics, weight fluctuations, position, and aging. “Tech neck” (frequently staring down at your cell phone 📱 and laptop 💻) has also been implicated. Here, I am helping my beautiful patient soften her horizontal neck lines with precisely injected dermal filler. I have found this to be the most effective technique for this challenging area. This is a close up of the subtle lip improvement in the previous patient, a 79-year old dermatologist who wanted a subtle softening around her mouth and lips. She had never before had any cosmetic interventions, and I was flattered that someone so experienced in aesthetics asked me to perform her first ever injectables— in front of a large audience of our professional colleagues no less. Here, I used Restylane Silk with a cannula technique for her lips and perioral wrinkles, as well as Restylane Defyne in her marionette lines and surrounding tissues. 💉💉💉 .
