Fat grafting is the surgical equivalent of spreading melted butter on a bagel— it is a powerful technique to add volume to areas of facial hollowing so the nooks and crannies get smoothed. About half of grafted fat gets reabsorbed by the body, but the other half lasts forever. Intelligent people disagree on this topic, but in my opinion, facial fat grafting must be performed in a very conservative manner for best results. I often use this technique in conjunction with facelift and eye lift (blepharoplasty) surgery. 💎💎💎 .
