This is a glimpse at one of my favorite treatments for hair loss: PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma 🍯🍯🍯. PRP is a derivative of the body’s blood that is rich in growth factors that improve hair density, activity of quiescent hair follicles, and longevity of existing hairs. 4-6 sessions are needed over a 6 month period. I recommend seeing your primary doctor to rule out medical, hormonal, or medication-driven factors. Supplemental vitamins such as folate and biotin can also be beneficial, as can topical minoxidil (Rogaine), which is over the counter in the US.
