Neck liposuction is an elegant way to remove excess fat from under the chin, as seen in my beautiful patient— pictured here before and immediately after surgery. A surgical necklift would be the most definitive option for her, but at this time, she preferred a lower downtime approach. I used a scuffing technique on the surface of the platysmal and the under-surface of the skin that will help give her a modest skin tightening. Surgery takes 20-30 minutes and involves a tiny hidden incision under the chin. Most patients take 1-4 days off work. 💎💎💎 .
