3 weeks after abdominoplasty and liposuction 💎💎💎 This operation is one of the most transformative ones I perform because it helps a person feel unencumbered, more mobile, and more confident in his or her body. It takes about a year for final results to materialize, but even at this early time point a few weeks after surgery, this beautiful patient has had a significant improvement in abdominal and waist contour. 💎💎💎 Abdominoplasty, also known as tummy tuck, takes about 2 hours, is done under general anesthesia, and involves 2 weeks off work and 6 weeks off exercise. In conjunction with this procedure, I performed a repair of the abdominal muscles (rectus diastasis) and liposuction to create an hourglass appearance of the waist. 💎💎💎 For best results, I advise that patients be within 15 pounds of their goal weight prior to surgery.
