My favorite body positivity message of the year was from my lovely patient @marateigen, one of the faces of the @kyliejenner lip kit. 💗 I hope 2019 is the year internet trolls find their happiness and learn the art of “live and let live.” Many of us private citizens don’t realize the how judgmental, cruel, and horrible the words that are leveled at public figures can be. While their lives seem charmed— and in some cases they may be— they are still just people with real thoughts and feelings, like all of us. As someone who enhances and optimizes beauty for a living, I will say that the things I do are omnipresent. Behind the scenes of a lip lift 👄👄👄 This is an elegant, highly finesse-driven operation for improving the philtral distance (distance between the nose and the mouth), the vertical height and fullness of the upper lip, and the aesthetics of the lower third of the face. This procedure can be done alone or in conjunction with other procedures, and it can be done under local anesthesia only or with IV sedation.
