Voting no 🚫✅🚫✅ on submental fat deposition. Even in thin patients, fat accumulation under the chin can make the face appear heavier and less defined. To treat this, I prefer to use either submental liposuction (my first choice) or Kybella (my second choice), shown here. Kybella is an injected enzyme that permanently dissolves fat over the course of 1-6 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
